Our Story
Built in Montréal.
Shaped by real work.
CC&Co was founded on one conviction: that strategy, brand, digital and production should never be separated. Over fifteen years, we have tested that conviction on hundreds of mandates from national campaigns to franchise systems, from experiential installations to AI readiness strategies.

The beginning
The problem we set out to solve.
Most organizations manage their brand, digital presence and communications through different vendors, different timelines and different standards. The result is a brand that looks inconsistent, costs more to maintain and loses clarity over time. The strategy document says one thing. The website says another. The social media says something else entirely.
CC&Co was built to solve that problem. Not by becoming a generalist agency that does everything adequately, but by building a genuinely integrated system where strategy, creative direction and execution stay aligned from the first brief to the final production file.
The name says it: Conscious Creation & Commerce. Every piece of work is intentional. Every decision connects back to a business objective. Every deliverable is built to be used by the people who have to live with it every day.
Timeline
Fifteen years of building the work.
2010
Founded in Montréal
CC&Co Conscious Creation & Commerce starts in Montréal with a clear premise: strategy, brand, digital and production should not be managed as separate departments. The founding team brings together creative direction, communication strategy and digital expertise under one roof.
2012
First national mandates
The agency takes on its first national-scale campaigns, working with food and beverage brands across Canada. The work spans brand identity, digital activation, social media strategy and print production establishing the integrated model that defines CC&Co's approach.
2013
Questology is launched
CC&Co launches Questology, its technology and interactive experience division. Questology builds the platforms, social aggregation tools, event technology and digital installations that bring brands to life in physical and digital spaces. The Frontwall social aggregation platform becomes one of its signature products.
2014
Van Houtte / Fairtrade national campaign
CC&Co leads the bilingual national campaign for Van Houtte and Fairtrade Canada. The #TonMondeTonChoix / #PowerOfYou activation runs across digital, social, in-store and event channels simultaneously one of the first major social participation campaigns in the Canadian market. It sets a new benchmark for integrated, participation-driven brand communication in Canada.
2014
C2 Montréal installation with Baillat Cardell & Fils
Questology collaborates with the design collective Baillat Cardell & Fils on a social installation at C2 Montréal. The installation aggregates live social content from conference attendees, turning audience participation into the exhibit itself. The project is covered in the press and establishes Questology as a leader in experiential social technology.
2015
Bell Social Media Tower at FrancoFolies
CC&Co and Questology design and build the Bell Social Media Tower for FrancoFolies de Montréal. A large-scale digital installation that aggregates audience social posts in real time and displays them on screens at the festival. It becomes the most photographed element of the event.
2016–2019
Expansion across new industries
CC&Co expands its client roster from restaurants and retail (Marchés Adonis, Java U, La Banquise, Allô Mon Coco) to healthcare (Laboratoires Lehning), government, finance and technology. The agency develops deep expertise in bilingual and multicultural communication, franchise brand systems and market entry strategy for international brands entering North America.
2020
New York office
CC&Co develops New York-connected work and operating context where the project proof supports it, without presenting this as a separate office.
2022–present
AI readiness and digital transformation
CC&Co evolves its practice to address the new realities of digital marketing: AI-powered search, generative content, first-party data strategy and the convergence of physical and digital brand experience. The Digital Maturity Assessment tool is developed and the strategic consulting practice expands to help organizations navigate transformation with clarity.
An outside view
“From day one, I was given real responsibility managing client relationships, running strategy sessions, and contributing to campaigns that were actually launching. The culture is direct, collaborative, and genuinely curious. Every project felt like a new opportunity to do something remarkable.”
Hugo Betelu Project Manager Intern, CC&Co / Questology (2014)
Now a senior communication consultant in Paris
Right now
The work has changed. The model has not.
The marketing landscape has changed substantially since 2010. Brands are managing more channels, more content, more technology and more complexity. The need for integrated, disciplined, strategic communication has grown with it.
Today, CC&Co works from Montréal across Canada, selected United States contexts, New York-connected work and international mandates. We have expanded our practice to include AI readiness strategy, GEO (generative engine optimization), digital transformation consulting and first-party data strategy while staying true to the integrated model that has defined our work from the beginning.
The story is not finished. We are building it with every mandate.
